MND field report, directed to the Rheinwehr High Command.

Reporting from an actual combat engagement, where I went to confirm the desertion of WRF Hauptmann Walter Steiner, taking up an affiliation with the Red Hessian Army. MND has been tracking his movements ever since his disappearance, today one of his ex-soldiers identified him and several Red Hessian companions in Stuttgart orbit.

Voice matching and combat patterns confirmed the former officer's presence among the lines of the revolutionaries, since following a sudden attack performed on the hostiles by former Rheinwehr Flieger Hans Wurst, who flew in an illuminated state again, a full-scale fight erupted. On a sidenote, the Red Hessians were also assisted by Henrik Drum, another Rheinwehr deserter, accompanied by his outlaw companions, such as Maria Stevens or Victoria Lesley as well as Daniel Boehmer, a higher ranking Volksfront terrorist. Looks like most of the leading Rheinland villains grouped up for the afternoon tea party.

At any rate, I assisted the Rheinwehr and the Bundespolizei officers combating the revolutionaries. We lost a Mjolnir and Bounty Hunter gunship in the engagement, but took down two Red Hessian vessels, including Steiner's Sabre and inflicted severe damage to the ships of Stevens, Lesley and Boehmer. Gefreiter Landers dueled Boehmer's ship who decided to withdraw into the nearby Ostnebel nebula.

No enemy escape pods were recovered and our injured pilot is in medical. I would like to notify the high command of how satisfied I was with the performance of Gefreiter Landers in combat, but otherwise there is nothing notable to report, as apprehending Steiner, Drum or Boehmer all failed.
