The Eagle is an ORIGINAL part of of Freelancer, therefore it should stay.

There are a *lot* of other ship models that are 'imports' to Freelancer that need to be replaced, as has already been pointed out.

AFTER this has been done, then changing original models should be considered.... that is if it is decided that it should be necessary.

As far as a 'unique' Eagle for each faction, think a re-skin/texture in Faction colors, that would serve just as well if you think about it.
