When I came on duty today I got SOS transmission just after undocking from Elbich.
I turned my Bomber to mining fields where Mining ship Rostock was at the site. He was being pirated by Corsairs Pirate Transport and one fighter escort. They atacked the miner and so I opened fire and tried to get the transport off the Rostock Hegemon but just outside the Elbich Hegemons hull has cracked and ship exploded , Elbich rescue team has recovered every escape pod and I went after the bandit. The fight was long and in the end Corsair pilot took the fight into exploding gas cloud which unlucky halped him escape.
After I failed to destroy the Pirate Transport I switched target on the escort and I managed to take him down without much problems . I scanned area for the runner but I have only managed to locate another PT Corsairs ship just outside Elbich I decided to take him down and I did. After that victory I quickly rearmed and started to fight the upcomming Corsairs who wanted to assist their firends I think. I was fighting long with one of them but this one wasn't such easy target and I failed to destroy his fighter with my bomber. I have escaped to Elbich. As far as I know when I was escaping the Rheinland Military officer Schnaps Bretzel
managed to destroy one more of the Corsairs and he reported back to Elbich that all Corsairs forces have retreated.
