Home under the sun

[Hidamari]

Kiriko stirred a little, when she opened her eyes she was looking directly into the flickering fire of the candle light, her eyes opened widely as she froze in place, unable to move out of fear. Kiriko lay caught like rabbits in the headlights, the fire dancing close to her face. Shizuma'€™s Voice seemed to trail away rapidly, images of her burned home flooded her mind.

Still frozen Kiriko trembled and began to hallucinate unable to look away from the fire, *she stood in the living room of her house, flames crawled up the walls surrounding her, the deafening bang of a gun wracked round her ears, she jumped both in her hallucination and laying on her bed, turning round she saw two faceless figures falling to the ground slowly, she knew they were her father and older brother, blood flooded from their lifeless bodies, it swept across the laminate flooring towards Kiriko's feet, she yelled as loudly as she could, in reality she quietly murmured in terror, a fearful sound quivered across her lips.

"Toru! Kotaro!" the sound of Mikoto Hidamari.. her mother screaming as she was dragged outside by a Kusari police officer and thrown into the mud rang clearly in her mind... "Okasan!" she screamed, but her voice was drowned out by the sound of another gunshot, as her mother fell slowly into the mud.

"O..oka.s..s.sama.." she quivered..
