Maximus Decimus Meridius

During the last few weeks Maximus and his crew were rebuilding the Lost Pioneer. The ship has been repaired, biodomes fixed and all systems were updated and checked. Engineers from Livadia done some real good job with the hull breaks and the ship was like new. Maximus gathers science teams got crew and supplies and started his project.

His aim was to find the sourse of nomad power and destroy it. His new ship was stronger then the last one. Armed with better defence systems and stronger hull upgrades. It was much more capable to face possible nomad strikes. He set off first for Zeta.

Omicron Zeta was an empty system. Apart of one Order outpost there wasn't much to explore. He aimed for one of the nebula and by using a search pattern he found some Nomad instalations. It appears that an old Iota jumphole from Minor has moved. Without hesitation he ordered to prepare the jump sequence. With few mortar rounds he disabled Nomad defences around the jumphole and proceed to other side. After the jump they arrived in completly dark system...desolated dark space with two nebulas. A gas giant in the middle was the first waypoint. He was suprised that Nomad defences were so weak...that their fighters didn't swarm him just after the jump and the most weird thing was Kate. She was ... diffrent from the time they entered. It's weird to even speak about AI behaviour but in this particular case Kate was rather specific. The nomad presence in the system was noticable but something was holding them back. Maximus ordered to proceed into one of the nebulas. Once they arrived people started to report strange events happening on the ship. Maximus at first ignored them but soon he realised that taking civillians on such trip could have been a mistake. After days of crossing the asteroid field in the nebula they finaly got something. A small disturbance was discovered but the nomad presence was to high to break it. Maximus ordered to fall back into Zeta and possibly look for another way to get pass that point. He hoped to find some other jumphole heading for that space. After searching into Mu with Order escort from 141th fleet he arrived at Minor.

Omicron Minor was a graveyard...He wasn't there since the atack in Lost...but the sight was terrifying. He knew that the same force that destroyed his ship atacked Minor later but he couldn't even imagine such destruction. Toledo...all covered with burnning volcanoes...The planet crushed and it's survice smashed into space. Around It ...tons of wrecked ships...including the famous Isis...The sight was making him even more furious...Not only that he failed to save his friends but he could warn the Order...they could survive such force. Maximus decided to check the jumphole to Omicron 92 ...He knew that before there was high Nomad presence in that system and it could be useful to search it for clues.

When he arrived in O92 Order agensts intercepted him. A warship Sun Core with multiple escorts from the Taskforce One For One fleet have been acting suspicious. Maximus decided to head for Delta...just in case. On the way there his cruise engines went down. During the long flight Agents started acting weird...At first Maximus thought It was stress caused by the Minor. When they finaly left the Minor system and left the Nebula outside the jumphole in Omicron Zeta. Order agents started scaning the ship in order to find the damage to the cruise engines. Earlier this was impossible due to asteroids and nebula blocking the scanners. Now when they arrived in open space the ship was finaly clear for scanning. 141 pilots detected hull breach in sectors around the cruise engines bay. It would seem that ship has been striked by a large size asteroid. A size of light fighter craft. Maximus tried to fix that by sending onboard engineers squads but they couldn't breach the bay doors. While Maximus was trying to fix the damage done to the ship the pilots outside the ship were having somekind of visions...it was strange that noone on the ship was facing such problems. If it was the nomads it would most likely effect the people on the Pioneer but no such thing was reported. Maximus ordered the crew to get back to their cabines and security guards has been placed in all key places around the ship. Order agents decided that the ship must to be boarded. They suspected that Pioneer could have been tempted with by the Nomads. Maximus thought it was a stupid idea... How could that be if the ship was nearly build from basis. There was nearly no parts left from the scrap he managed to bring back. The shell of the ship...some basic control systems and Kate. The last one was the thing Order was most curious about.

When Order agents decided to board the ship Maximus ordered Kate to reboot herself and check for any errors after the reboot. He trusted her ... she was an AI but still she earned his trust and helped him since the beginning when the old Pioneer has been built. Kate was a friend...not a foe...why would she harm anyone? Maximus was worried...after high alert being set on the ship and people being closed in their cabins report from the security chief arrived. Apart of some light system failure there was one distrubing news...43 people were missing and Cruise Controls bay was blocked. The Order ship with engineers and scientists from 141 was on the way. The Lost Pioneer is about to reveal his secret.
