Maybe the Sairs and the Casts should team tackle the Coalition as THE source of trouble from back in the days sabotaging both of them... and while fighting a common enemy the squabble about turf might even find a somewhat constructive end.
Maybe the sairs have to get rough with Atka to ensure peace, who knows?
On the other hand...the Sairs might even help Cryer out and demand research results about Cardi/Cardi addiction/detox from Cardi...might also ba a good plot twist.
Basically everything is better than meeting in space and knowing well...we have a war...but nobody has a REAL reason to fight it any longer.
