Long story made short:
Young Coalition pilot meets young girl on an abandoned ship floating on the Omegas. She turns out to be a Freelancer Scientist hijacked by pirates, so he drags her home. They meet and talk and feel and fall in love. Little problem: Young girl doesn't quite agree with the Coalition goals. They decide to stay on the Omegas... And end up staying there for five years or so. It is then that she becomes pregnant and finally convinces said pilot to leave towards a more... neutral... ground.
They head towards Bretonia, trying to find shelter for their newborn child...
BPA here, KNF there, Mollys, Gaians, Hackers. It didn't realy work out.
Finally, not-anymore-Coalitionist manages an arrangement with some Zoners, and they settle a Freeport somewhere.

We've been living here ever since. Mother taught me how to be a decent one, and father how to fly and shoot. That's pretty much all the education I ever had. We've been feeding on the money I raise as an escort for the station but, for the sadness of my father, I'm not really of a shoot.
The truth is... we're tired of war. Of fighting. Of pointless bickery and politics... What I seek is only decent, honest pay and a place to call home. It's time my folks earn some rest.
