After my prompt awakal in the Westfalen medical bay, I was ordered into space. I grabbed my Wraith and flew out. Ein Gefreiter quickly briefed me on my task and I immediately got to it. I flew through Hamburg into Berlin, where I took 2 full rounds of the trade lanes. Finding nothing, I continued my patrol into Stuttgart where I was immediately greeted by ein LWB pilot. After a brief chat I ''persuaded'' him to return home after all; no point in wasting military resources on simple farmers. It proves that this helped as taking the trade lane to Planet Stuttgart led me to a Hessian who was attempting to pirate a transport. My arrival scared him and he quickly retreated into the nearby asteroid field, the Ostnebel.
After checking up on the transport and ensuring it's safety I continued my patrol of Stuttgart. I passed through Baden-Baden, to the Omega-11 gate and back again. After completing my run all the way to the Omega-7 Gate, I decided to return to Planet Stuttgart and check for any contraband smugglers. I waited for about 10 minutes until I hit a jackpot. I found a small Transport carrying slaves who was trying to slip past. When he tried to make a run for it, despite my several warnings against doing so I was forced to destroy him. A nearby lawful transport was able to assist me in the liberation of the Slaves from their pods onto Planet Stuttgart.
At this point I recieved a message from a Guild Master of the GMG, one Taro Katsuo. He informed me he had just destroyed a Rheinland Military ship in Sigma-13 after he had been engaged by him in GMG space. I treated him with the respect he deserved and invited him to the Planet New Berlin orbit to clear up the situation. He arrived with a mercenary escort, understandable given the hostility of the Rheinland people towards the GMG and his stature as a Guild Master of them. As I went through the evidence, one of our Admirals (Admiral Rall, I believe) arrived. He ordered the meaning of a GMG pilot in Rheinland space from me and I gave it. I was then informed that the situation was under his direct control but I was to remain in the direct area of the Admiral and Herr Katsuo.
After some 5 minutes of discussion and overview of the evidence submitted, the actions of the GMG Guild Master were deemed acceptable and he was allowed a safe and legal return to Sigma-13. My patrol was then continued around the New Berlin system once more until my shift was over and I returned to my quarters on the Karlsruhe in Stuttgart.
Flieger Karl Hoch, signing off.
