-----SUBJECT: Reports of my arrest(s) are greatly exaggerated!-----
Hola, firstly, thank you for the villa. I bought myself a lovely slave-girl to put some life in the place, but in the end I figured Eva's not gonna like that, so sent her back to the plantations. I'll just wait on Eva.
*Ahem*, sorry. Anyway, it's been to long since I've reported in, and a lot has happened recently. Firstly, as Eva has already reported, yes I was arrested, and yes I was released. And honest to god, the officer believe that David Hale was my supplier. I shared no other information, so don't worry about that. After a short stop on Rochester with the junker's... um, shall I say 'hospitality?' Data and I picked up some slaves and came home. An event-less trip.
Since then, I've started flying Cardamine to Buffalo for the Rouges, I daresay you're aware of their shrinking stockpile? Anyway, the most recent flight is one to note.
A fellow smuggler, an XTF slave liner if memory serves, told me that there was a wing of Freelancers making the Tau 23/29 jump holes dangerous for smugglers. I decided to head through Tau 31 to avoid them, and made it all the way to California with no incident through the jump holes. Once in California, I decided to make up for lost time and head down the lane to the Magellan Gate and then to Minor before heading to Buffalo via Texas. At the Magellan Gate though, I managed to pick up a copper, who followed me to Minor, and chased after me into the asteroid field where a cruise disruptor finally allowed him to catch up to me. Despite my efforts to the contrary, he just wouldn't believe that my cargo was in fact cryer-grade pharmaceuticals, and ordered me to drop it and pay a fine. At this point, I remotely activated Data, that AI of mine, through the S.K.Y.P.3. comms, and he began to make his way to me.
I should point out, I managed to keep the cop busy for a total of 10 minutes before an LSF agent arrived, and with no qualifications in manners, ordered the usual drop, pay and leave. We naturally couldn't do that, and headed for Alcatraz. Data was still not here at this point. With fire on my tail, I made it to Alcatraz where a rogue gunboat patrol (//NPC) destroyed the LSF ship, and a rogue light fighter took on the cop. The Tepic moored safely and the station's shields protected us.
A short while later, well, a couple of hours actually, long after Data had arrived, the Tepic was repaired, rearmed and ready to finish our shipment. We went through Texas as planned and made it to Buffalo with no further incident, which is where I am right now, about to head out with the Scintilla to return home.
Just let the record show, that the number of shipments I have made under the banner of the 81 Syndicate are numerous, and by comparison, these few failed arrests are almost non-existent. On top of that, none of these 'arrests' have actually succeeded.
