Personally, I think in the Omicrons, the DHC are a bit of a paper tiger: Zero influence, lots of bluster. Their influence is derived from their status within Rhienland, which is, to be fair, a long way away. Their supply lines (which do apply to corporate vessels too) are massive, and the locals unfriendly. When DHC ventures into the Omicrons (how do they know the route and everything anyway?) they shouldn't expect to get far.
Unfortunately, with the docking restrictions now put in place by DHC the reverse is true for Zoners venturing into their space. This is where things get interesting: Just how isolated and self-serving do the Omicroners want to roleplay? They probably wouldn't ever enter Rhienland themselves, and most of Zoners have never helped them, right?
Their actions could have repercussions on other Zoners, but with this new mentality of 'we are not all one' and fragmented, compartmentalised Zoners, would they actually care? Are problems you've caused for other Zoners your problem? Is others holding your Zoner brethren in other sectors 'hostage' a realistic threat? Another example of this could include the sabotage of Freeport 9 I suppose. That could be constituted as a major problem by the residents that you caused.
This is the part I find most interesting. From what I've seen from the Omicroners, the staple insult towards the other two factions is to call them traitors. They also seem to represent the militant core of the Zoners. However, the Omicroners stand a good chance of rendering themselves pariahs by other Zoners too for the sheer amount of grief they've caused.
Bear in mind, this isn't a criticism on your roleplay; far from it, I love the afore mentioned situations. A great way to fend off stagnation is to stir things up, which you've all been doing admirably. This post is more a query into the mindset of your characters and the motivations behind your actions, based off my own observations.
