' Wrote:Staple insult? More like calling it how it was. This is of course, in-RP. I just had enough of Arashi's blame game on Skype.
I couldn't comment on the politics on Skype, given that I don't have it and have had nothing to do with them. As for traitor being an insult... Well, it is meant as one. You don't smile and wave at a passing OSI transport with a jaunty cry of, "why hello my good traitor!" Well, unless you're being sarcastic or condescending anyway. I didn't mean it was an insult out of roleplay. It'd have thought that kind of pettiness was below you anyway.

Ok, I will admit you have a point on the militancy. That was just a vague feeling I was getting off the situation, is all. Not concrete conclusion backed up by evidence.

Again, I would assume that the above is a vague feeling you're getting off the situation, instead of a concrete conclusion based off empirical evidence. Opinions vary, and seem at the very least divided. I mean, ingame I've spoken to more people that were miffed at the ZTC, now Omicroners, about the whole blowing the biodomes off thing. But I digress. That's unimportant.
' Wrote:Yes, well, if they are not in the Omicrons or Omegas then they are efficiently house sell-outs. But, I digress. I wonder who is the outcast of the Zoner way then?
Freeport 10 begs to differ, which in the unmodded game is heralded as the Zoner settlement the furthest from the colonies. It was also mostly self-sufficient, with trade links to Freeport 6 for the parts it couldn't source itself. No house trade at all - Freeport 6 got the goods from the Houses, sure, but not '10. Plus if Freeport 6 is a House sellout, that puts it in exactly the same position (relatively speaking, geographically) as Freeport 1. There's the Taus too, remember?:P

This was based on the afore mentioned biodome sabotage, trouble with the DHC (which I actually really like - it's a good conflict of interests), breakdown of negotiations with the Core (again, not your fault, but in character, people might see it differently. People act in strange ways when grudges are applied).
Anyway, I didn't particularly want to get overly bogged down in bickering here, given that the original intent of this was to give your group praise on a relatively unique roleplay outlook. I am glad you answered the question on opinions on outside Zoners though. I think that adds to the aspects of the group that I find interesting. A kind of philosophical ruthlessness that goes along with the isolationism, in my opinion (see reply to quote two before seizing this point).
I'll just quickly sum it up as: from the point of view of a relatively new community member, who holds little to no influence, you're doing good. I'll be watching carefully to see how Zoner inter-faction relationships develop.
