Brotherhood Bar-Talks

Ares strode to Pedro Maniaco's table, his fury permeating throughout the bar.

He sat down with a slam and a sharp exhale. He was obviously taking great pains to control himself.

"Hello, brother... I need to talk...please... just listen for a while..."

He grimaced then continued...

"There is a lot of disrespect towards brothers like myself these days. From those that are supposed to be of the blood of Crete. It sickens me.

Those Benitez upstarts fired on Ivan the other day, Pedro. He, of course, outflew them and punched holes in them, but the insult still stands.

What was worse was the lack of apology from their 'Don'. That and his apparent forgetfulness about who the hell I am. They forget the efforts I make to safeguard Crete, as well as aid rendered in Alpha. They forget the honours bestowed upon me by the Elders.

It is a spit in the face of my family, brother. Some even try to claim that I am not of Corsair blood now... those 'Omega Pirate Guys' or whatever they think they are.

The only reason that I haven't rallied a small wing to remind them of my courage and resolution, befitting the blood of Crete, is that I did not wish to slay my own kind, turning Gamma into a battleground. I would not wish to insult yourselves - the Brotherhood, or the Elders.

However, I can only take so much, so please be understanding if my vengeance spills over and strikes at them with unfettered fury..."
