how do you get your userbars side-by-side?

ok, i have one already, and its sitting there like this:

i type next to it so that it becomes this

{img}url1.com{/img}{img}url2.com{/img}

but as soon as my | thing (cursor? idk what you call it) moves away from where i typed, it moves the code by itself and becomes this

{img}url1.com{/img}
{img}url2.com{/img}

hmm, do you have an auto-formating thing?
