There needs to be a limit on how much Pirates can demand....

Absolutely not. Piracy is as valid a way of making credits as trading, and if the pirate isn't one of the "10mil or dai" breed, it's a damn sight harder to make a living through it than trading is.

Tell you what, how about we restrict what traders can earn on a run. Say 500k tops, whatever the cargo, for an adv train, with decreasing amounts dependant upon the size of the transport.. How does that sound? Does that make you feel all rosy inside? You happy to agree to that happening? Somehow I doubt it. So why do you expect that of the pirates?

There are good and bad pirates out there, just as there are good and bad traders. Learn who the bad ones are and avoid them. Learn how to avoid all pirates in the first place. Hell, in three years here I've been caught by a pirate once, and that was because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. Of course, avoiding pirates takes work, rather than just clicking on the Dock icon as each trade lane is approached, but that's a small expense in exchange for arriving safely at your destination.l

very hard work - sit at one place and shout "10m or dieee" like many pirates do - no matter what somebody fly, or what the cargo is... my statment is that trades and miners is supose eran many money - and pirate characters schould not be created to earn more money than traders or miners - becouse we finish with server where will be no traders - no police...
If You decide to play as pirate You schould do it becouse You want some fun - not to earn milion of credits...
for instance I play as military, and that is hard - becouse I do not earn ANY cach in it, only on some misions or for kill some wanted pilot.
