Apart from the ingame performance, I have my doubts about the affiliation of this Faction. I like the story, its good, reasonable and well thought through. But I don't think a faction with such a story should represent the ordinary pirates the brigands are.
Thats something entirely different then your ex-navy survivors. Again, I like the story, but I don't think the Brigands are the right NPC affiliation where you want to be official, since you doesn't represent them in my opinion.

See, it's sad that some people think like that because it makes no sense in my opinion. But thank you for sharing your opinion with us because I've already met some other people who think like you and now I can finally show you all who think like that why your opinion is not correct:

You say Brigands are ordinary pirates. Brigands are Brigands. It's part of a Brigand RP to have a different origin then the usual "I r bad guy, raised on bad planet with bad people"-type. Because, look here:

The Gallic Brigands, otherwise known as the Free Brigands of Gallia, is a loosely affiliated union of experienced criminals and other antisocial elements, many of whom are former Police pilots.

So, a brigand can be a guy who was once a police pilot. See? We also have someone in LE who was a former IDF pilot, and also someone who was once a freelancer. And also someone who was born as a brigand. And then, there are also former Royalists (Legionnaires) in the LE. What I want to say is that the origin does not matter for a Brigand....You are a brigand because you had to be one. Maybe because you were forced to, maybe because you just needed the cash, maybe because you just did it for pleasure. It does not matter, because, in the end you work together with people who had to take the same way like you and you also fight for the same cause: profit, a better life. So, The LE is not at all composed only of ex-royalists.

Please take your time and read this (if you can't, then only the 3rd post, as it is the most important one). This goes to all who say that we are too "militaristic" to be brigands, which is not at all true. Think about it. And thank you again for your feedback.

Oh and another update:

We now have this naming convention: +LE+Name.Lastname (the ranks are left out now)
Because it will help to take away this "militaristic" impression that some have about us and it also looks cooler.
