It has been a while since I made my last report. But yesterday, I had a situation where I nearly saw my death coming. Well, I'll begin from the start, where I escorted an Interspace Commerce Freighter, named: Roger.Ford

We meet in New York at Newark station, and decided to make a trip down to New London. We did meet some Pirates on our way there, but they kinda ignored us. Maybe they didn't excepted a Freigther, escorted by my Eagle. Anyways, when we arrived at London. I picked my Stork, which was parked at Waterloo station. So we made our way to Dublin, Graves station, and went back towards New York.

After we used the Jump Gate in Cortez to California, we meet two Lane Hackers; Nicole Hunter and another one, flying a Pirate Transport. They were staying there, as if they awaited us. I already thought, that this'll be my end. But I've been lucky! Some random Navy patrol arrived and tried to help me, so I just had to drop my hold which contained 5000 tons of pure Gold ingots. But it got a mess, because the Hackers, feared the Navy patrol. So my shields went down, and they took me as hostage. Panic. I sweated hard. I thought: "Now I'm dead." But as said; I had luck.

In that mess, I dropped the cargo and shoot it immediately. Yes, it was the best I could do in that situation. Better shooting the cargo, than getting shot. After that I acted, like someone else shoot it, and not me.
And it worked. They got confused and let me and Roger Ford go.

Survived. Man, even if I had this huge loss now. I'm so going to have some weeks holidays now. No matter what you're saying. I still can't believe how lucky I've been...

Ah well, I guess that'll be enough for now.
I won't enter that transport for some days now. Not while having that situation in my mind.
But I'll still offer escort services. (So I've got my destiny in my hands.)
