That was written, and pinned, on October 9th of 2009. In other words, it's been up there now for MORE than a FULL YEAR. There is no slight difference, as you so casually toss out there.

Zelot was quite correct in his commentary, and BlueSpawn incorrect in his rule interpretation. There was nothing borderline about it. There was more than adequate role-play. A demand had been made. Negotiations were underway, the trader was being uncooperative, the pirates rendered it a moot point.
