I have a cool Idea regarding the Leeds-Magellen hole, basing of the "destabalized due to high traffic" idea,
(the only explanation offered so far, and a good one. I'd hope these holes wouldn't just change with no reason, and we'd be expected to RP it)
That hole is constantly getting BMM hege's barroling through it, I say it collapsed during (and due to) a particularly heavy BMM convoy passing through, so in the next version, where the holes used to be, we get half a hege wreck on each side, with lootable gold ore!
Or if you don't like the hege, how about a mastadon, USI loves to use massive convoys for that route.
As for the rest I say definitely keep the leeds-dublin hole, but move it further from the lane in leeds, and seperate it from the new london hole in dub (move whicher one is best, how about one down the bootm?)
