How a player faction excludes a characteristic of the NPC faction

outcasts long range scan shows a large group of corsairs gathered. What makes you think they WON'T take that opportunity to deal a major blow to their long time rival?

and you shouldn't be accusing anyone of acting oorp. none of the corsair leadership that is responcible for all this nonsense has come out once to say why they are fighting zoners and what they expect to get out of it.

Nearest answer i've gotten is that corsairs dont' need zoner food anymore. Which Dab and other admins have slapped down as powergaming.

Even if that was a legitimate reason. I don't need the food you have been supplying my people anymore is NOT a reason to open fire/make blockaids/rep the mass murder of countless people.(many of which could be corsairs that became zoners for more freedom, remember zoners are not a people, they are a gathering of everyone from all factions united for individual freedom.)

I've got both a corsair and a zoner character so i'm not hating on eather side but when flying in ether ship i've get to get a reason for this war from the corsairs.

The zoners have a reason that is valid, they are protecting their freeport. That is legit. What is your reason?

First off, Dab is not an administrator. Unless something has gone horribly, horribly wrong, Dab is definitely not an administrator.

Dab is a Moderator, so his voice only goes as far as the rest of ours in matters of the server and RP. He is not a voice of god on the server, he is just another player. He is here to clean up spam and help the administrators on the forums. He is not someone is dictates whether or not something is OoRP. Nowhere else has an "Administrator" deemed it OoRP to say that the Corsairs have found other suppliers.

Second off, just because someone else has a different interpretation of RP does not mean his interpretation is wrong unless you can prove it wrong (with evidence of it being noncanon, not hypotheticals). There are many rumors about the Corsairs being envious of the Zoners and distrusting of the Zoners. Just because you don't think it's friendly to attack them does not mean that the other Corsairs do not disagree with you. They are fulfilling their RP through attacking the Zoners and it is just as legitimate an RP as your being friendly to the Zoners.

Also, if you are a Corsair, you are a Corsair. There is once instance in vanilla which shows a Corsair who had defected, and that was the Rebel in Omicron Theta (Omicron Theta Diamondback wreck). All other instances show that when you are birthed as a Corsair, that is all you are. You are a Corsair until death. No doubt there are peculiarities, however those are few and far between who are, no doubt, hiding from the Corsairs. I really don't see any Corsairs ever renouncing their Corsair Vows (like the Rebel was documented to do) in order to live as a Zoner.
