Yes you are right, from a pure Role-Playing standpoint you can say that the Navy/Military aren't supposed to do the job which is entitled to the police. But what happens when the Police ain't online? Are we supposed to ignore that trader calling for help or those pirates sitting at the trade-lane for the sake of keeping in Role-Play? In return you can expect what the reactions will be from civilians, in our respective feedback threads.

We're weren't online because we didn't have any members to be online with because you did our jobs. But you did our jobs because we weren't online. And we weren't getting members because the Navy/Military factions of Disco have it written into the IDs themselves that they can do everything the Police can do and more. If you see a trader in distress and want to help them, switch to your Police character, because they're supposed to be the people protecting the civilians inside Rheinland space from the local, small threats. But if you don't have one, then you would have to use your Military character because you can't just ignore the trader.

It would take many months of hard work and recruitment on both sides to sort out a system where the Police and Military do not have to do each others jobs due to a lack of activity, which I do not believe is currently possible.

Sure we did your jobs since someone had to. If you aren't online, how are we supposed to let you concern yourself with with a certain task? You don't get involved with the forum RP? Remember all the dramastorms that have been lately, in which the RFP did get involved, it was not the RM who took it as useless interference from your side without you having an in-game manifestation to back up what you said.

Did you notice how I was the only person who did any of that? And anybody who would have been interested in joining the RFP at that point would have been in it for the new-found pew-pew with the WRF.

Don't try to blame it on the military, man. I do feel we did everything we could to help you out.

I am not attempting to blame the Military. I just made this thread to announce our disillusion. If anything I put blame on the Admins in the first post for removing that official status activity warning which we desperately needed to remove some inactive factions. But the Admins are good guys, so I wish not to discuss this further.
