Your first paragraph contradicts your second.
In the first one you say that anyone can rp what they want, which is true. Then in your next paragraph you say you don't see any corsairs renouncing their corsair vows(btw there isn't any vows, your born on crete, your a corsair as far as racially, faction wise is up to your own rp. I've seen kusari bretonians. so its possible.)

Zoners come from EVERY faction.

This is why when in the single player a freeport was destroyed it was such a big deal. it wasn't oh a few zoners died, oh well. It was all factions looking at that going WTF I had contacts/relatives/relations/business partners There!

This comes from the Zoners on Freeport 5. This is a proof. It uses direct evidence written in Freelancer canon to prove something wrong. Unless the Corsairs can say that they've changed this and anyone who is born a Corsair can fly off and do whatever he wants, this is the canonical truth. Corsairs are Corsairs. You are born a Corsair and die a Corsair. What you have given is written by a player and is thus a third party source. Everything on the Wiki is a third party source. Unless it is on the forums or in Freelancer itself, it is not really canon.

A Kusari in Bretonia is not something extraordinary. There were 800 years of peace, and so it makes sense that some citizens of one house would move to another and become citizens of that house. Sometimes, cultural values are more important than racial values.

You can have an interpretation of canon, but what you are talking about must be canon. You can't suddenly say "The Rheinland Military has annexed the Magellen system. They have always had a keen eye on this system and now seek to strike at Liberty from within it!" because that's utter tripe according to the Canon given to us by the developers. I have no problems with people coming to help the Zoners, that is your RP to play which is not anti-canon, but pushing RP on the Corsairs because you view their canon-RP differently is not right. Everyone may interpret their RP, but they must stay true to their faction's RP in the first place.
