Guten tag,
Well I really put the hours in today. Since the Sigma 13 negotiations are going nowhere fast, silver mining has been cut in half. I only filled up on silver twice and dropped the ore off at Elbrich. Afterwards I turned to Cobalt, which we have turned focus on until we can resolve our differences with the GMG. Put it in and filled my hold four 4 times before calling it quits. I cannot forget to mention the help I received from Heinrich Fink, he helped me fill up once while using the shared Mafic Miner.
All for the most part was quiet, except for two incidents I did not expect. First was a Daumann escort, offering to my Kruger Hegemon protection, I was caught off guard. At first I'll admit I was worried Daumann might be making a move. I declined and told him that I think he would be better received on the other side of the trade lanes.
Second was an Independent Miner looking for somewhere to mine, since the fields were empty he could have found somewhere and probably gone unnoticed. But he decided to come very close to my ship, and launched a paralyzer missile. Luckily I was quite aware and executed evasive maneuvers, launched counter measures, and the missile just missed my ship. I thought I was under attack, but the miner proclaimed it was a misfire. I think that is what happens when inexperienced miners get behind ships they have no business flying.
But that is all just a part of being a miner and keeps it exciting. But now I am about to go grab some beir at the bar and the probably start all over again ... with sleep of course ... maybe.
