Message: While escorting RepEx-Shipping|503 from Omicron Theta to Cambridge Research Station
We were assailed by Independent pirate Grinch_1, he demanded 500,000 Credits and pursued us into the Cambridge system where I refused his demands. Grinch_1 initiated combat and targeted 503, SF contacted us regarding the situation. Most unfortunately they didn't arrive on scene in time to be of any true aid.

During combat I lost all sensor readings for approximately 5.8 second, when they returned I found Bretonian forces had initiated hostile maneuvers towards me. What caused this is unknown to me therefore I will not approach the subject. At the conclusion of this incident I was contacted by SF officials stating that Grinch_1 would be placed on a watch list and approached on his next entrance into Bretonian space. Furthermore RepEx-Security|501-C sent a subspace communication stating that Grinch_1 had been eliminated.

This was later confirmed. I consider this matter now closed, however RepEx officials may comment on the issue.
