My lord, one of my task forces discovered a brand new Liberty Cruiser out on trial runs in a remote part of California. By some madman's error, it was left without a shield or any of its normal weaponry. Looking at the project files, it was simply out to test a new design feature, some improvements to the forward gun. The three gunboats quickly relieved her of her engine; it seems she was only running a skeleton crew of twenty-six people, all now deceased. With your permission, sir, I'd like to recommission her as the Omicron Fleet Temporary Flagship, as word has been received from Corsica that construction on the Thick-as-a-Brick is coming along as an...unsatisfactory pace.

Post-Scriptum-In an interesting turn of events, Attache Willow has been called back to Omega-49 to regroup with Fantasia for unknown reasons, I suspect have something to do with the recent influx of Corsairs; he has left me his old destroyer.
