Greetings fellow congressman. Firstly, I'd like to say that yes, the bounty on Pharo is still open, and will remain as such until he either jumps through hoops and makes up for his ways, or finally dies. If anyone is against making an example out of this vigilante, by all means speak your peace.
Onto other liberty related news. Three events I'd like to mention, starting with the most amusing. While flying through New York on my Roc, I encountered a rather rude pirate on the lanes. Nothing violent, but he irked me, and seeing an LNS bomber pilot after I had left the pirate's sight, I decided to try and make a quick buck. Now, the navy fella wasn't too bright, but I managed to swindle 100,000 credits from in, in return for giving up the pirate's position. And they say we don't help the navy boys....His being unable to comprehend my saying "Hey, there's a pirate on that lane, right there" is irrelevant to the matter, aye? +++
The second was a rather brief encounter with [LN]-Jack.Turner and his recruit "Skynet". Having jumped from Alberta, this "Skynet" opened fire on my vessel without a word. He ceased once I myself returned with a fair bit of plasma into his shields. All this in the presence of said LN officer. When I questioned Mr. Turner about the private's actions, his response was, and I quote, "That's what happends when you talk to much on radio channels". I found this odd for several reasons, the first being I had literally no time to chat before coming under fire. The second that an officer of the Liberty Navy suggesting that Liberty was in fact, military controlled Rheinland, where talking can get you killed by law. I'm a bit too preoccupied to take this up with their higher ups, but attach the evidence should one of you be sufficiently outraged. ++
The third and final event was a rather prolonged discussion with the LPI officer Kelly.Shore, and =LSF=Kalan.Yamato. It appears that our line of transports, the XK243 Trains are flagged as illegal vessels in Liberty. Despite having scoured their Laws, I see no indication of this. Perhaps one of us could have words in a less hostile environment with them. I tried, but having several bomber and gunship weapons aimed at one's face isn't the best time to talk technology and law.
Anyhow, deliveries to make and all. Till next time.
