I didn't rush to Om-49 because of one corsair cruiser. I did rush because where was a corsair cruiser, even today was, also already was a bretonian battleship, and many more that is useless to report because we would flood this channel.

If you want to defend Mindelo Base please do ... i would do the same, but why going near planet Gran Canaria? Today one cruiser went to orbit GC saying it was protecting GC, and become very angry because i said that we don't need it. If you enemies are on Omega 50 and Omega 47 why should be corsairs capital ships near Gran Canaria? Do you whant to give an excuse to others also go? You have the right to want safety for your colonists there but you ae not the only ones that have colonist amoung zoners! What if others also send ships to protect then? Also GC is right on the route between Dublin jump hole and Omega 47 jump hole, how the corsair cruiser would react if a enemy of your empire was just passing by? And how they would react to see a corsair ship there? You know well how dangerous a impact of heavy fire can have on a planet surface, we can put shields on a base but not on city, do you want to risk the lifes of many because of a miss fire? Please don't turn OM49 on a warzone. Want defend Mindelo fine, it is your right, you want to reconquer Casablance on Om 47, ok, but please leave GC and OM 49. If any enemies comes attacking Gran Canaria then you can lauch your ships if you wish, otherwise, the presence of your capital ships is just a reason for they to come.
