I was called to duty today by Captain Dimitrov for a routine patrol. Heh, little did I know that that one “little” Patrol ended up being an all out engagement.
I hopped into my Insurgent and met the Gunboat Captain in space. We were called to patrol Omega 5, and all was quite. However Colonal Alvarez soon arrived in the Havana and informed that there was going to be a fleet forming to move into Leeds. We were joined by another fighter and another gunboat. We moved onto Bretonian space, met no oppisiton and moved into Tau 31. As soon as we jumped in we faced a Monster Kusari Battleship, the Jarek_KNF. Wasting no time we moved to engage the target and quickly destroyed the foolish battleship. Another win for the Revolution!
However after we did the cowardly work for the Bretonians, those dishonorable scumbags turned around and ambushed us. We were caught by surprise and fell back to Omega 52. We lost a couple of men, however we took some of the Brets down with us.
My ship was destroyed, however I am moderately glad that I survived, as I can continue to lend a helping hand to the Red Dawn.
