Point 1:

You took my damn slippy. Yup! That beautiful little 6 gunner monstrosity that I would pirate in. You took it, decided it wasn't 1337 enough then boosted the heck out of it.

I suppose.... Although, you might want to keep in mind that it actually has a hitbox now unlike before. And we can't use it very well because we don't even have class 7 guns to mount on it. (development oversight or what)

I would like so say though, that it is true that it probably was handled rather poorly but those were the days of Hoodlum being Supreme Commander of the Admin Forces. (And honestly, it is true they were supposedly added to be Phantom ships originally but lost that somewhere along the way.)

Also, the Raven Claw/Shadow is a real pain to fly. Which is why I fly the Sabre. Shadow is too wonky.

Point 2:

Use of phantoms as server police.

Fighters with bomber power cores because someone Q_Q'd about a cap swarm. I know an admin got a slap on the wrist for it... but fighters with bomber power cores.

Can we beat a dead horse any more? I already apologized for that and hind sight realize how painfully obviously stupid of a course of action it was. So can we put it to rest already?

Point 3:

General attitude of some players.

I have had, over the course of the years. the following happen with phantoms,

Q_Qing over private coms about fights. For a long time.

Planet/Sun Diving because they were about to die

Snide remarks

Q_Qing when I wouldn't join them as unlawfulls in a fight. (granted they were getting uber ganked)

I have been jumped 3 on 1 at gates by them. But Q_Qing about phantom gank would be just silly considering what they have to deal with every time they go out. Then again, they have the mighty slipstream. You can get out of anything in a slippy. Ask me how I know.

Poor attitudes I would very much like to hear about if I were still leading the group. Q_Qing about fights is basically banned entirely in the faction.

Anyone who sun dives should be put on a short leash.

Snide remarks are to be expected, since Phantom characters feel they are "better" than you, most of the time. That said, if the snide remarks are OORP....same as above.

And.... Q_Qing in character is understandable in a situation like that. Q_Qing out of character is not.

Being jumped 3->1 is going to happen, unfortunately. But it'll happen with any faction that decides to go out as a group. (I'm sure you've been jumped by three members of a house military or three bounty hunters, or three pirates at least sometime before.)

Basically, some of what you've mentioned are legitimate complaints. I would like to see some SSsof this stuff going down if it ever happens again. Sun-diving, poor attitudes, Q_Qing, etc, etc.







@ Jameson: I would like to see one thing from the Outcasts, though. I know it was confusing and frustrating me when I was leading the Phantoms and if BaconSoda cares at all it might bother him.... Can you come up with a way to respond to us that is... at least somewhat consistent? One day we're welcomed as heroes and dock on Malta no problems. The next day when we launch we get fired on for desecrating Outcast lands.... or something. One kind of diplomacy so Phantom dudes know what to do would be nice and less confusing.
