Ambush!

[color=#FF6600]A highly valuable convoy inbound from Bretonia was ambushed and captured by members of the Red Hessian movement in the Omega-7 system. Having been examined throughly after landing the transports on Ronneburg, the Red Hessian officers supervising the operation decided the content of the convoy and the vessels themselves would be of more use to the LWB, planning to expand their operations to the Omega region and thus, aiding the Red Hessians themselves.

As a token of gratitude and a nudge for future cooperation, the Red Hessians sent the convoy and its cargo, this time manned by their own revolutionary crew, to rendezvous with an LWB contingent, bringing other members of the Rheinland Revolutionary Alliance along for security.

However, the Hessian convoy was detected, attacked and destroyed by a joint Daumann-Rheinwehr force in Omega-11, taking action quickly enough for the rest of the RRA forces not to be alerted. Motivated by their success, the Rheinwehr commanders decided to measure the vector of the convoy and thus, lock in the rendezvous point in a mere hour, still giving a time window for the loyalist forces to attack the part of the RRA vessels gathering to receive the shipment in the Westnebel.

A Rheinwehr-Bundespolizei joint strike wing will assemble at Konstanz border station then proceed to engage and nullify the AGS-Volksfront-Red Hessian Army squadron near the jump hole.

Objectives:

-Neutralize the opposing force.

Date: 19:00 SMT, 28.11.818. (Sunday evening).

OORP Notes from the organizer:

- Both factions should assemble about half an hour before the given time. Last time the engagement didn't start because people still kept coming, an hour after the fight should have started.
- There is again, positive discrimination for less active factions, AGS, Volksfront and RFP will get permission to engage before the RM and the RHA in case the numbers are imbalanced.
- Try to maintain a level of role play. No worries if you don't read the setting, but it would add to the feeling if everyone knew the backstory of the event in bigger details so we can enhance the realistic environment.
- [color=#FF0000]Spectators are not allowed. The more ships there are, the more it lags. Please don't spoil the fun of others by stocking up a dozen more ships than needed just to see how people rage because of the lag. If you want to attend, get faction membership.
- Try to note in advance if you are coming, numbers would be easier to organize like that.
- Fighters only. Should be obvious enough what that means.
