Greetings, honorable members of the Council of Elders


I stand before you today to report an act of treason. The captain of the Legate Class Dreadnought registered as HAF-Evolution has opened fire on my Legate Class Dreadnought registered as PW-Arges today and for that i think he should be severely punished.

While I was patrolling in our home system of Omnicron Gamma I found 3 ships near Tripoli shipyards. One Eagle Class VHF, one Ahoudori Class Explorer and one Imperator Class gunboat - I bet that was a stolen ship. Before I got there 2 of them docked without asking for permission and the Eagle stayed in space. Our records identified them as pirates so I asked him to leave. He did not comply to my requests, therefore braking laws 18 and 19 (also 20, for the ones who docked) of the Sirius Codex - Laws of the Corsair Empire. The other 2 ships soon undocked. After several attempts from my side to make them leave I destroyed the Eagle. That was the moment all hell broke loose.

The captain of the Evolution came to Tripoli and took down my shields with no warning. At the beginning, he did not admit it and started ordering me around, telling me those are his hermanos and warning me to leave them alone. All this time they were firing on my and preventing my shields from recharging. I could not allow those ships to be flying freely in our home system so I kept asking them to leave. They did not. Short after the captain of the HAF-Evolution admitted he was the one who opened fire on me earlier

The moment he admitted he was the one who took down my shields I opened fire on him. He returned fire and his so-called hermanos also fired on me. Once his ship was damaged I stopped. They didn'€™t, so I resumed fire in an attempt to defend myself. I did not succeed in that and my ship was destroyed, a ship privately funded by my family. I think it should be fair that the ones responsible for this act of treason will pay my family the entire cost of the ship and equipment destroyed

Two members of the Benitez family were there, but NOT from the begining, so if they chose to testify against me I request that the court will not take their testimonies under consideration because they do not have a clear picture of the entire event

At the end, some facts:

- 3 non-corsair ships, with no corsair identification signals //pirate ID
- one of them was an Imperator Gunboat with a corsair transponder, but no identification signal. I am sure that ship was stolen //corsair IFF, pirate ID
- the other 2 had no transponders installed //no IFF, pirate ID
- 2 of them docked on Tripoli Shipyard without asking for permission
- I asked one to leave, he did not, he died
- HAF-Evolution took down my shields
- I returned fire
- HAF-Evolution and his '€œhermanos'€ killed me
