After proceeding from the Battleship Nagumo in Kyushu enroute to Hokkaido, I came across two criminals engaging a Kusari Naval Forces officer. Moments after my arrival on the scene the officer'€™s ship went through a catastrophic decompression. The criminals in question broadcast their identities as Rika Ito, of the Golden Chrysanthemums and Saerieve, an unaligned Freelancer. After a debate on the legality of both themselves and their actions, I firmly reminded them that self defence is not a valid reason for the destruction of Kusari state property.

Saerieve in particular was a troublesome element, full of bluster and insult. He was dealt with in due time. During my altercation with the criminals, Myuki Kokori-Chusa arrived on the scene and engaged the Chrysanthemum Rika Ita who was summarily put out of action. An Outcast by the designation Tupacalypse[13th] appeared and was also engaged by Myuki Kokori-Chusa, but he seemed determined to only dodge her attacks in some bizarre attempt to infuriate her.

A second Freelancer appeared by the name of Jayce.Brooks, but he was not aggressive and seemed only inclined to watch.

This state of affairs continued for only a short time before two more Chrysanthemums approached our location and drew us into a further conflict. Their designations were as follows; Shion.Uzuki and Akira.Yoshi. As the dogfight progressed, the Outcast Tupacalypse[13th] appeared to feel brave enough to attempt a direct intervention, but did not prevent the destruction of either Chrysanthemum craft. Without his allies, the Outcast resumed his dodging and while I managed to scratch his hull on some small number of occasions, it was never enough to ensure the destruction of his sabre.

After the Chusa withdrew, the Outcast seemed to lose his fervour for the game and proved an easier target, until he chose to cruise back to Tau space. Since the Chimaera issued to me is not equipped with interdiction technology, I merely observed his retreat.

Following these engagements I resumed my journey to Hokkaido to dock with the Battleship Matsumoto and await the completion of what meagre repairs my Chimaera requires.
