Khabarovsk was a new mining site on Miura, one of the few located inside of the great forest covering the southern half of the planet. The flora here was thick, highly resembling pine trees of old, and was almost entirely unnavigable, save the rudimentary pathways hastily constructed between mining locations.

The mind of J Gats was elsewhere, however. Though the haunting beauty of the place did not fail to leave its mark on him, he was now entirely focused on reviewing his plan in his head. Memorized flowcharts and percentages to the n-th decimal reminded him that this venture would most likely end in his financial ruination. Ah, but he was an entrepreneur by trade! The profit would be worth all the risk, of course. Now, if only his partner would show their face...
