As the two shared stories, Death Runner continued to sit back and listen, grinning and nodding slightly at appropriate times. Noticing the constant talk of alcohol from the voice of Samantha, he wondered something to himself and decided to speak up.

"Question for you, Miss Marquez.. Were you drunk at the time of your 'incident?' One is lead to wonder, with all this talk of alcohol and your obvious admiration for it, if you are perhaps under the influence while flying?"

The group fell silent. The smiling faces of the few seated around them stared at the man in confusion. He picked up his glass and raised it. The silence was quickly broken with his next word.

"Cheers!"

He began to laugh, and the rest followed.
