The Alaska Strike
_____________

[font=Palatino Linotype]MISSION BRIEFING
- VIRGINIA SYSTEM (Radford Station)

Theater of Operations Commander (TOC)
Captain Samuel Zanders:

Team. Over the course of five days we have managed to gathered intel on a possible SCRA attack. The source seems solid, a small bombardment is planned to take place in the Alaska system. It seems they have managed to locate the Kodiak Research Station.

As you can see the station is heavily guarded with both weapon platforms and regular patrols. However, the SCRA have managed to breach into our Capital System several times, so do not underestimate their capabilities of breaching our defence mechanisms. The eastern area of the system has several surveillance units stationed as well as two prison stations and regular capital-ship patrols.

Our tactical analysts have concluded that the only possible route the SCRA can take is via the western side of the system, an area of space that is more or less empty, at least according to what we have mapped so far. Because we have received another possible SCRA threat that is inbound for the California system, our taskforce will have to split up. I can only bring four of you with me to the Alaska system. The rest of the team will be assigned to another mission.

Now, the team chosen for the Alaska system will set-up shop in Echo-Six, Kodiak Research Station in 0048 hours. From there you will move to Checkpoint: Delta-Five. If our intel is worth anything, you will spot them. Proceed immediately to intercept and neutralize all targets. Key-target is any vessel armed with a Supernova Antimatter Cannon or Nova Torpedoes.

That is all. Let's roll.

EVENT DATA
- RULES, NUMBERS, DATE

Rules:

• The SCRA team will station from Order Battleship Atum (3 E/F) and move to sector 5-D.
Please notify my character in OOC, [LN]-Samuel.Zanders, when you begin moving. Our units will wait in the middle of that sector to intercept your team. The battle will ensue here.

• My character will be docked in Juneau Shipyard and simply act as a tactical commander, but he will not participate in the battle itself. Therefore we will be a total of five players in the group. But once again, only four will engage in combat. Should any of my pilots be forced to leave before the battle begins, I will replace him.

• If you manage to destroy our wing we will Role-Play that you successfully made a strike at Kodiak Research Station, we will also Role-Play the consequences of the damage you caused to our unit.

• Should you be defeated, you are free to Role-Play the consequences any way you want.

- Keep it in Role-Play at all times (system/local).
- Our team is denied to run towards the Kodiak Research Station as a means of dodging fire.
- Both teams are denied to use any NPC Capital-Ship patrol as a means of dodging fire.
- Both teams are denied to shoot NPCs as a means of gathering nanobots or shield batteries.
- Both teams are denied to receive back-up. Should any individual(s) interfere you are allowed to abort the battle and shoot said pilot(s), then return to the battle once everyone is ready again.
- Should a pilot on either side request a time-out (due to Real-Life emergency) then both sides are required to stop shooting until said pilot has returned and is ready for combat.
