While we're hardly united, I have the people I look over aboard the Litany Malus who are interested in your message, skeptical like myself, or outright turned away at the prospect of sentient flora that can enact itself upon deep space communications and flight.

"Without appearing too hostile, I would like to merely state I am skeptical and unconvinced at such a benign and friendly message in these times. I suppose I may be slightly paranoid from such events, though it as I stated before, I have hundreds of Zoners who willingly live aboard my ship, some who live here for years at a time, who I hold concern over their well-being if such agreements were made to allow your mingling with Zoners food crops to begin.

"As I said before, I am merely being skeptical, this is no hostile ruse to goad some ill reaction. I open my ship to any ambassador or your own person to present themselves. If special accommodations are required for such a meeting, I will prepare them right away at your first request. Otherwise, we'll remain skeptical until we learn more of your intentions."

Muttering something about canceling his gift to Marvin, he'd reach for a console off-screen and disable the transmitter kiosk.
