Changeable Powerpacks?

Well, this is my idea:

Just like you can equip different shields with different recharge rates and modify your ship's stats with the Armor Upgrade Modules, would it be possible with power as well?
So, capacity upgrades, charge rate upgrades... That'd be fun. And it would make the game even more customisable, so with tons of money you could get your dream guns.
Of course, all the base power stats would have to be lowered, so the difference isn't that much... And the price should be around twice the Armor Upgrade ones.

What do you think?

NOOOOO! THIS MUST NEVER BE DONE!!!!!!!

Heres why; People xfer cap power cores from Cap ships to fighters, and then they have infinate power!!!! There is no real way to regulate who has what core.

Good idea, but ruined cause theres lots o people that would be cheap and mount cap cores.
