The thing is, I'm not quite sure how to interact with the Garda, as I said in my description post:
Quote:If multiple mollys tax, the price goes up, but the increase is divided by the number of extra mollys, so;
If 2 mollys tax you, you pay the normal tax, plus the normal tax divided by 2.
If three mollys tax you, you pay the normal tax, plus the normal tax divided by 2, plus the normal tax divided by 3, ect.
Thats how I usually interact with other mollys, (usually indies seeing as the official factions seem to consist solely of Dara about once a week) wether I'm the one who taxed first or arrived to find an already taxed miner,
cos either way, I dont want to be pissed off to see/hear about another molly, I want to be happy to see them, and vice versa.
But, we both agree to protect the miners, which I'm UNSURE about where the garda stands on that, seeing as you said;
Quote:Thats not to say that we don't have characters that don't protect miners, its just that we can't really do it on [Garda] chars.
and also:
Quote:of course, we'll jump in and assist wherever needed
(VHF and LF as long as they are advanced are fine, seeing as nothing bigger than a gunboat will be pirating miners)
If the first case is true, then I dont see what the Garda brings to dublin, in effect theyr just as bad as pirates (though cheap ones) by taking and giving nothing back, something which I like to think the mollys are slightly above.
Meaning I would have to basically ignore the garda tax, continue taxing as usual, and wait (a LONG time) for official judgement on them.
If the 2nd quote is true, then is it cool if I treat with garda players the same way as I described at the top?
Thanks.
