How should Zoners "behave"?

The actions Mal has described are indefencible. Many factions have been liquidated for less, and I fail to see why the AW should be treated differently. Why do you call yourselves the Zoner guard when most of the time you are attacking the Corsairs? That is completely the opposite from guarding Zoner interests.

Then they group up with allies of the Outcasts, who attack us. Taking sides in a war is very un-zoner-ish.

1. They contradict each other

I wonder why? There must be a reason, and its because there are so many anomalies from our point of view, its too inexcusable to not to react to. This has cropped up so many times, but none have resisted change as the AW. This is not right, as you cannot use a business model from the 6th century AD in the 21st century for business. AW should adapt, not just say no to everything those around them are saying.
