Why, i didn't mean "rather than". One thing doesn't cancel the other. In other words, little changes to what Slaver ID can use, if made, wouldn't automatically prohibit to implement some (or, all) of your own suggestions. I guess. It's just that my suggestions, imho, would be an additional help if we are to solve your issue with "too few slavers around".
IRT Gargamel: i know, i know, getting more lolwuts to be Slavers would negatively affect average quality of slavers' RPing. However, look at this from wider perspective: if we have somewhat contant number of "people who do really good RP" on the server (i guess we do), then if you "lure" more "good RP" players to be slavers, then unavoidably all other factions will have less such people. Good for slavers, bad for others. I say, it'd be "no gain no loss" deal, if we care about "how much good RP is done on the server". From the other hand, if we have somewhat constant number of "lolwuts" on the server (i guess we do), then do we want them flying army, police, order, security colors? I bet we don't. So if more "lolwuts" will be slavers, i wouldn't really mind... After all, slavery is "inappropriate" activity for any developed society just like being "lolwut" is inappropriate way to play the game, i believe. So the two would nicely fit with each other, in a way... =)
