I was ... an exemplary soldier,
Obeying every order blindly.

I fought for Liberty, for the government, which now I despise.
I've shed a lot of blood ...
but for who?
I don't know.....

My name is Mortimer Beckett, generations of Libertonian-Welsh decent run through my vains,
Guess I'm grumpy and stubborn by nature, but always just.
A miners life was the one of my father and grandfather and his father ...
But during the war I was drafted by the Navy for the defense of Liberty.

On returning home I found out Liberty as I knew it changed.
It became corrupted , People were full of greed and envy.

Large corporations got rich at the expense of us, simple people, who truly loved
their Liberty, But not this rotten corrupt farcade.

Back home I tried to point out that the government was doing wrong and I thought
being a war veteran would make people hear my voice...
but it was all in vain.
Nobody even wanted to listen to me for a minute, let alone to lift their fat buttocks from their beloved armchairs.

I lost hope....
Ended up visiting all the bars to get drunk and looking for some reason in this.

Until I met a few people,
it seems harsh, the anger I hold towards everything that represents this government and the law of corruption in Liberty.

Though some people know what I am talking about.
In the army I only heard rumors of them, and slowly got an image of who they are
in general, and what they fight for.

I found very hard to get information about them.
Most roads brought dead ends.

Until at last after a long search I found the Xenos Alliance.

So now here I am before you, bitter at the Liberty government and very determined to fight against corruption.
To fight the system.
