The door to the infirmary crashed open and the doctor strode into the room while proclaiming, "This had better be a damn emergency to drag me away from my ev...............". He stopped in shock and stared at the scene that confronted him. The nurse was kneeling on the floor in front of the examination table, literally drenched in blood from head to toe, sobbing pitifully. On the table lay the body of a well dressed man who looked vaguely familiar and although he was obviously dead and had patently died in a violent manner, he had a beatific smile on his face.

"Mon Dieu! What in hell has been going on here?" he demanded of the nurse. Slowly she rose to her feet, and walk determinedly towards him. Stopping in front of him she said in a quiet voice, "I called you. I called you repeatedly. I used the emergency call over and over. You never came. This man lay here bleeding to death, while I struggled to save him, but you could not drag yourself away from your ......... entertainments!" Then she spat in his face and walked quietly out of the infirmary, never to return.

Meanwhile in another private lounge, a beautiful hostess with a husky, sexy voice entertained another Brigand. While in the privacy of her mind, she wondered if that cute young Bernard Rondolet would be amenable to something other than a 'professional' relationship. It was not often that she met such a handsome man and a real gentleman as well!
