I don't know about that.
Electrical charges are the way the body works, yes.
But you know how brains have all these wrinkles?
That's your actual memory databank, biologically.
The way we read those memories and such, is directed by our DNA structure, which is also directed by which mutational strain and order.
The reason we share similar DNA with just about everything on the planet with small mutations and differences, is because the similarities are the basis of how a body (at least an earthen one) works.
How a heart should beat. How a dog remembers that it doesn't like people in blue overalls because one such guy hurt it.
That kinda stuff.

That's not what I was saying.

Say that, as of this moment, you have your information copied so you can be reconstructed if you were to suddenly keel over and die.

Then, tomorrow, someone tells you their phone number.

Then you suddenly keel over and die.

The clone could be reconstructed, and it would still be 'you', but everything that happened after the point of having your information copied would no longer be in your head. You wouldnt know about that person telling you their phone number, because it was never experienced by the clone, and that information was gained after the information to make the clone was written down.



The post I was responding to was basically saying that you could copy your state of being at age 25, and every time you needed to 'teleport' somewhere after that, instead of using your current state of being, you'd be bringing back the age 25 state of being, so you'd theoretically never 'age', but you'd also never learn anything new because your memories are constantly being reset to what they were at age 25.
