Jack, still in his pilot dress and with the helmet under his arm, immediately hugged Elijah, expressing that he missed him
Jack Aubrey: There's a lot of garbage left in here after the departure of the last members. I wonder if the auxialliary mainframe and the secondary power unit can give us some power to bring some light in here. So, while we were in Gallia, the Terminus was left to drift in space, without any kind of crew on it, and with some of the most valuable equipment in Sirius.
The atmosphere inside the ship was dark, the light-source was off from almost 3 months, and the dust layed down on some plates of the typical round tables of the bar.
Quote:The expeditionary force sent into Gallia didn't knew what was about to happen, the BHG incursions in Omicron Delta, Kappa and Theta forced the Terminus to seek hideout in the most remote system in Sirius, Omicron Lost. But even in the silence of that dead system, the Terminus was forced to take part in a fight, a deadly fight for the already crippled flagship. Two bounty hunter battlecruisers engaged the Terminus around 1950 hours, in orbit around the 'Pink Princess', the only planet in Omicron Lost. The crew was doomed before they could even power up the first battery deck, a direct mortar hit ripped the armor protecting the engine room, instantly killing its crew, while a second mortar shell hit the bridge, destroying and killing everyone and everything present in that section. With only a few guns shooting, and a rapidly expanding conflagration in the main battery sections, a handful of survivors ejected from the burning shell of the Terminus, on a collision course with the planet's atmosphere. Little they knew that the Terminus was attracted by the gravity well of the planet.
Jack Aubrey: Well, odd huh? Strange point of meeting that we've picked, lets try to power up what we can, you know the way around.
