I undocked the RNS Beuvray for a standard scheduled patrol at 14.30GMT. When I arrived at Dijon station, I found a very unpleasant surprise. Just as I was about to forget them, I saw a Perilous class vessel undock from Dijon. Nothing special, but this gunboat however, was tagged as RSC|. Oui, the RSC have returned. After their failed attempt to assasinate Princess Alice, we destroyed all their rogue vessels. At least that is what we thought.

I tried to question the captain of the "[color=#FFFFFF]RSC-|Condemned", but it set course for the Lorraine Jump hole without much words. Attempts to disrupt him somehow failed, so I went after him while alerting other available pilots. While in pursuit, I continued to question him. He told me the RSC were equipping themselves once again, pretending to be true Navy members to get access to our supplies.

Once he made it to Lorraine, he joined up with another RSC Perilous, the "[color=#FFFFFF]RSC-|Obsidian". They were making outrageous accusations against the crown, saying we were cooperating with the Council, and other nonsense. They were trying to get away again, so I engaged the two gunboats, assuming backup would arrive soon. The RSC have horrible pilots, so I didn't have much trouble keeping them busy, and even doing some damage. Backup arrived, Commandant Valence came to assist me, and even the Grande Marechal herself interrupted her Christmas celebration to deal with these traitors.

The gunboats never stood a chance, and their ships were destroyed quickly. I sincerely hope we killed this return of the RSC before they had a chance to organize themselves, but I have a feeling this wasn't the last we heard from them.
