In short, there were never any "good old days". Just we look back on fun times that were had, and forget about all the crap. Good stuff happens, bad stuff happens.

Back when I joined, there were rarely more than 80 people on the server. This thread was posted at 5am UK time. The majority of players are european. I'm sure you can work out why there would be next to nobody on the server at that time. Sure, player counts have dropped a little since maybe a year ago... But honestly they're still way higher than they were when I joined the server. Discovery is doing good for itself, particularly considering it's a modified version of an ancient example of what has since become a deeply unfashionable genre of game.


And if disco does die... So what? Everything comes and goes. Stability isn't really all it's cracked up to be.
