After these events in the Green Hell Beergarden of Islay Base, the story goes on in Le Baron on Narbonne Base, the club of the Legion des Damnes...
The Guilltone, Enzo's personal Asco gunboat had just entered Gallia, through the jumphole in Orkney. After arriving in the Languedoc system, the Guillotine was heading for Narbonne Base, first passing the Montpellier Guard Station, then one Council planet, Quillan.
Enzo took a break from piloting to meet Sequoia and Hikari in the inner room. There was a minibar on the wall, Enzo took out 3 glasses and a bottle of wine. He filled all 3 glasses, and put them on a small table. Sequoia and Hikari were sitting next to it on some small folding chairs. They all clinked their glasses. "Welcome to Gallia, cheers." Enzo went up to a window. "A land where you are nothing but a rat if you don't share the opinion of a little minority. A little minority, that, strangely, has too much power to handle it for whatever reason." Sequoia and Hikari were listening while occassionally drinking from their glasses.
They were just passing Agde, a crater-filled little planet. "There are too many problems in Gallia to talk about. Inequality, treason, greed, conspiracies, murder, "nobility"....which is nothing but an excuse for weaklings, cretins and cowards to boost their little, crippled ego....." Enzo takes another sip of wine from his glass. "And oui, much more. However, for people like us, these lands are paradise. We can do what we want, when we want it, how we want it. And the current situation of war between le Counseil and les Royals makes it even better."
The Guillotine entered a dense asteroid field, buffing up shields to push away incoming bigger asteroids. A Legionaire entered the room "My Lord, Narbonne is in range." "Tres bien. Proceed to dock." He turned to the two ladies. "We have arrived, this is one of the places we call home"
The Guilltoine entered the docking bays, and landed. The passengers left the ship and headed through the main hall of the base to the well-known club, Le Baron.
