Okay, I'll try to be transparent here, since I sat in on some discussions about the Nomad ID.

The nomad ID is no ot going to become an open ID because the admins say so. Not the dev team. Not the faction. Not the player base. Sure as hell not because someone wants to try it. Jes specifically said a long time ago that the terrorist ID should go away - and effectively the way the Nomad ID is written, it's a terrorist ID. And since you can't re-write the Nomad ID without stripping it of what they represent - a group that's hostile to EVERYONE in Sirius (except certain Outcasts and the Wild) - it's going to remain a closed ID.

Do you really want URUSS)))) Nomads running around, because that's what you'd have? Seriously, anyone remember what happened on the event server when we played out the Core / Order battle of Toledo? (That ended with Yuri in his unstoppable Nomad ship blowing up Toledo?) Let me refresh your memories ... http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=72115
