The situation is not helped by the discovery that Gallia has recently fixed its own Gallic Franc to the value of the Sirius Credit in a move designed to both enable trade with some Sirius groups and simultaneously hurt the economies of the major Sirius Houses by passing on the inflation from its own overheating economy.
The bolded part - in the nick of time.
But. The last part (in italics), about hurting economies, either doesn't make sense or requires a degree in economy. I personally think it is even more hurting common sense than those parts about certain factions getting screwed (which everyone argues about).
How did this miraculous 'fixing' worked with such result? Like many things with Gallia, it would be much easier to accept without attempt to explain. (No-one really expects realism, but when when you invite one and it don't show up...).
