I like this. Igiss' post is very well written and following most of the logical conclusions I expected.

Why would the Xenos wait till they cannot hope to win? If they want to help Liberty, than as much damage as possible must be done to the Gallic forces before they reach Liberty. If they reach Liberty in their current state the LN and any other resistance that might show up dont stand a chance.
This is dead on. The Xenos act crazy, but they aren't stupid. They'd have been gone a long time ago if they were. They know that the longer Bretonia holds out, they better Liberty's chances will be in the end. This is an excellent tactical move. My only question would be what resources can they actually offer.

Calm down guys. The Junkers are not getting shafted. We have a connection to Gallia, there is no way to get around that or deny. Even with the Junker Congress breaking ties with the Gallic Junkers and especially the crown the fact will always remain that Gallia is where the Junkers came from. Most of us are not Gallic born or of Gallic ancestry. However, some are including the founder of the Congress who came from one of the wealthier aristocratic families among the Gallic Junkers.
The Connection to Gallia is something we are just going to have to deal with and we've known this since before 4.85 was released.
