All things considered, there really isn't any room to complain since the number of pirates involved shouldn't be that high "in reality", and that the military "in reality" has much bigger things to worry about. Like, I dunno, the threat of complete annihilation?

But people will do what they want to do and blame who they want to blame. Be it because they choose to look at it in terms of in-server results, or simply because scapegoats are fun.
